A novel polysaccharide, HSP-Ia, with a molecular weight of 973.6 kDa, was isolated from hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) seed residues using sequential aqueous extraction, ethanol-induced precipitation, and chromatographic fractionation. Its structural attributes were determined through methylation profili
